The Lucas Surgical Curette (Fig. 87, Hollow Handle, Serrated) has a spoon-shaped blade used to debride extraction sockets and bony cavities, removing granulation tissue, soft-tissue debris and cyst linings. The lightweight hollow handle gives a balanced grip, and the serrated edge removes fibrous tissue more efficiently.
