The Tofflemire Matrix Retainer (Universal) holds a Tofflemire matrix band around the tooth to form the missing wall for Class II amalgam and composite restorations. The universal design works for most teeth and accepts 5, 6 and 7 mm bands, with a knurled knob to adjust tension.
